I've been learning to cook. I've done pretty well making a dinner of orange glazed chicken, stir-fry vegetables, and rice; a vegetarian casserole with a three bean salad; vegetable soup with hot buttered tortillas; and chocolate cake. Really, everything was going nicely. I was speeding along the culinary path, heedless.
Today, I hit the wall. I made the worst chocolate blintzes with cherry sauce ever.
They were like old shoe-leather. And tasted about as sweet.
*gag*
Think I can I blame the recipe book? ;)

*nod* Yeah, and I'm glad I found out that I couldn't do this recipe now, instead of when I'd invited somebody over, or promised to make my parents something nice.
The chocolate blintzes sound... nice.
Oh, yes! The recipe sounded *so good*. I was so looking forward to making them. I'm definitely going to have to take another shot at them some time! :)
